How to fix the starter

I wonder what it is for a starter or starter?

As their name implies, this device is responsible for starting the internal combustion engine. Because of the inertia, all elements that are static (stationary) tends to remain static. Prepare the tools to implement the service as: chave Fendi, hammer, key combined 8 and 13 mm, pliers external trava, chave torx, etc.

Turn off the tail of the positive brushes using an automatic start switch 13 mm. Remove the screws from the automatic and remove the starter motor, as shown in pictures below.

Note that the gear that makes the coupling to the flywheel is much higher than the starters without reduction system.

To separate the starter gear of the planetary assembly is necessary to remove a lock. For this, away from the latch housing with a hammer and a pin tubular. After removing the lock, breaks down the components.

It is time for removal of support brushes and the armature of the starter. This operation is very simple, simply remove the manually set.

The parts may be cleaned with gasoline, kerosene or solvent. We recommend, after washing parts, that directs a jet of compressed air to dry in the same order. Just be careful with the handling of compressed air.

You should still test the components as: automatic starting, support of brushes and armature. The tests are performed the same way as a starter motor with field coils. Do not forget that, to test the armature is required inductor (cicada).
